I am running cr43ts right now with no known problems but I would like to put fresh plugs in. Since going to a larger turbo and alky injection I'm running 26 max psi when at WOT. Should I be going to the cr42ts's now? I'm not getting any popping.
Also is anyone running a sidegapped plug ? Did you see any gain? Seems simple enough to do... Performance Unlimited 4-Wheel & Off Road Center - Hartford, Wisconsin - USA Technical Documents He recommends closing the gap by .010" but I run mine at .032 now and I think would stay at that.

You can't beat the CR43TS. :)

I gap mine at .032" at that boost on both cars.

Pump gas and alky., one car has a small turbo one has a big one.

Stock heads and cam. cars.

Same speed you run.

i run the NGK UR5's and have had good luck at 25-28 pounds on pump and alky. i use to run AC CR43TS but now i like the UR5's

IF it aint broke.....

Plugs and gap are fine. Just to confirm, make a few WOT runs and check the plugs to make sure they are not too cold (fouling- rich)....which I doubt you'll see, or too hot with a glazed texture.

Double check on proper reading of the plugs when running alcohol injection, I 'think' they help the plugs run a little cleaner, so if you are not getting any popping and the plugs look good, then let her rip. At least then you know you have a plug/gap that works; then you can experiment with different plugs (as mentioned in prior posts)and see if you pick up any mph.

Bottom line...you're in good shape, just check'm after a few runs and adjust gap 'as needed'. If you really feel the need to change anything, be sure to take advice from those running faster than you.....which from the looks of the posts you received.....is what you are getting.

I think I'll give the NGKs a shot. I have run them before in my Maxima. I guess I can always go back to the ACs:cool:

No thoughts on side gapping?

My personal experience is my car likes the NGK's gapped @ .28! Seconf would be the Autolite 23's. Thinking about trying the new Autolite Iridium plug just for the heck of it!
