Now that I blew a head gasket and the motor is coming apart depending on the damage I may go ahead and upgrade the motor. So it's time to pick a new cam and associated parts just incase.
Current mods in my sig...
I have a set of OEM new old stock heads that will go out to one of the preferred head guys/shops to get P&P and probably bigger valves..haven't decided who just yet. Also have a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers, roller lifters and new push rods ready...thanks to JD (jdsgnx) So I need to pic a nice Roller Cam to match my set-up nicely. Turbo GT6776e, converter TCS Billet 9/11 3400-3600 stall, built trans. I'm not against going to bigger injectors (currently 60/65#'s Motrons) if need be. My car is purely a weekend toy, only plan on going to the track a few times a season so it can certainly be on the more radical side (why Mike Licht suggested I go with the GT6776e). I don't care about smooth idle so if it's choppy oh well. I just want things to match and work well together when ever I decide to let it rip!
So what are your suggestions...I was looking on Full Throttle's site and it looks like pretty big cam's for my setup...like 215/220 rollers?
I only need the cam since I already have the roller lifters, but will need roller cam button, timing chain set, water pump, front seal, etc.
Thanks,
Scott
