Timing Chain

Is there any difference in the timing chain between an 86/87 and an 84/85? I'm guessing they are the same part but, thought I'd bounce the question off the board, anyone?

None that I know of. If you do a parts search I believe all of the engines from 77.5 to the last RWD block production all use the same one.

Already did that, part #'s are the same across 87 to 84, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything by checkin with the experts. thanx

Are the stockers in the 3.8 still that funky partial plastic gear thats used on the v8's??
