what is the max timing you would put in your car with c16 race fuel
i have a translator plus and extnder chip
(chip is 98 octane chip)
not sure what it is rght now though

"98 Octane"

A 98 Octane Extender chip is 23 degrees in first and second gear, and 21 degrees in third.

C16 doesn't detonate if the car is not run lean, I'd add timing 2 degrees (1 click)
at a time and make sure the engine "likes it". No need to add timing if it
doesn't make the car faster......

I have the same chip. Here's what I do. I leave the BASE timing as is, and move the WOT timing up two clicks (27 degrees), or sometimes 3 clicks (29 degrees), depending on the boost I plan on running.
The reason I leave the BASE timing alone is to aid in spool up on the line.
Remember, the BASE and WOT are "summed". Example: moving BASE up two clicks and WOT up two clicks will result in total timing being upped 4 (8 degrees) clicks over 3200rpm

So be careful.

BTW, C16 detonates in my car at 29 degrees of timing, So I use Unocal 114 (no detonation at the same conditions).
