Gents, I'm about to change out my front and rear springs, prolly starting with the rears first since they seem easier. Any tips/tricks? Thank you kindly.

Its been a while...

Assuming ur motor is in the car( u will need the weight of the motor when jacking up the lower arm), its pretty straight forward, u better have a spring compressor or forget it. Im sure u can borrow one from Autozone. U might have to replace balljoints if u run into problems seperating during the teardown. Everytime I have done it I think of the stories about guys messin up and the spring comes shootin out and goin thru a wall! I guess the idea behind that is just to be careful.

Thanks SuiSix.
The idea of a flying spring would be entertain however, the kinetic/potential energy released/stored would be a scry thought indeed.

yes, the rear springs are relatively "easy", but work careful anyway!
Enormous stored energy in a spring.
