255's, 265's, 275's fit fine. I run 235's on the front and 275 60's on the rear. :D

275/50/15 is close to stock size and works best on an 8" wheel out back.

I've used 3 3/4" backspacing successfully with Am. Racing wheels.

Stick with the 235/60/15's on the front.

If your car can do over 112 in the quarter mile you may wish to consider the 275/60/15 which are a bit taller than stock and around 4mph off in speed.

Keeps your rpms down in 3rd gear through the traps. Not stock height.

You may need airbags to keep them off the wheelwells too. I use them on 8" wheels and need the airbags same 3 3/4" AR wheel backspacing.

Do a search on tire sizes that fit our cars, TONS of threads about it.

IMHO, i use slicks on mine, I bought some cheap 8 inch wide wheels from summit. They have 3 3/4 basck spacing and I run a DOT tire. Not like the Nittos, but more like the strictly drag DOT, that way you can still run in the street classes as well. Use a 26x10x15 slick or DOT...your choice. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks

If your read to make more pwer you will need a really good tire
