Considering the turbo buick engine likes to be loaded
What do you guys think would be the best size (diameter ) for street tires for good acceleration

I was thinking goodyear EAGLE HP 225/60/15, diameter: 25.63
on my stock rims
If i go to 255/60/15 diameter: 27.05, then i have to buy the EAGLE GT 2

The 3.8L turbo engine might like to be loaded, but it really doesn't like to rev above 5000 RPM in its stock form. Any size tire will work on the street, but at the track, a taller tire that keeps the RPMs below 5000 RPM through the traps will be faster than one that allows over 5000 RPM's.

235/60 is a good size to use all around. If you want a larger tire in back 255/60 is a good choice for back there.

225/60's are about .5" shorter than stock.
