tire pre gauge for max boost???

anyone try this there was a thread on it a few mos ago. i ran the rebco gauge off my hose to the hobbs and it didnt work! any ideas? it has the check valve in it so i dont see what the problem would be

I cut the end off tire pressure gauge and teed into vacuum line to charcoal canister.It works great.

I got mine from Advance or Auto Zone about $12-$14.I've put them on a couple of cars and no problem.

I'm trying to understand the post. Your using a tire pressure gauge that has a locking feature to hold the needle at the max pressure. I have one of those somewhere. You can take it off the tire and the needle still reads the pressure until you release the pressure with the button. I like that idea. Where do you tap into for the pressure reading?

You tap in to the hose going to the charcoal canister, thats where I put mine.
