Is there a brass fitting I can use to separate the Uppipe and alky line..Kinda like an AN fitting for a quick disconnect? I would like to leave the nozzle and 90° fitting on the up pipe while the line is disconnected.

I've thought about that also, but discarded that idea after I thought about it as just another thing to leak and go wrong.

9/16 wrench and the -4an braided line disconnects pretty easy from the nozzle .

That's what i do now as it rarely needs to come off and doesn't warrant complicating it and inviting problems.

How old is your kit. First gen kits had 1/8 NPT threads on one side of the hose. Everything probably from mid 2004 and latter have had -4 hose ends on the both sides of the hose.

for the 2004 you probably have the 1/8 npt ended hose that screwed directly into the up pipe elbow.
if you want easy disconnect you'll want to get a 4an -1/8 mnpt brass fitting , then replace the hose section from the filter to the up pipe with a 4AN female ended hose
im sure julio could hook you up with the parts

if you decide to go with the disconnect i linked i make no claims to how it will work with methanol

Parts list.
1 41 inch hose 24.52, 1 1/8-4 adapter 2.00, ship 6= 32.52
U know what ta do (y)
