that looks good

but is there any thing behind the "TNX" thing or its just a really cool emblem for your car.

I have never really been a GN fan, but I love the T's, and of course I love the GNX as much as anyone else. So I decided to go for the best of both worlds. A "TNX" which will be a Dark Garnet Red version of the GNX with matching silver and burgandy interior. I am in the process of wrapping up stage I of my project, which is to get the 87 conversion done, get it painted, and then put the interior back in it.

It's getting hood badges and the two TNX badges I posted along with GNX flares and louvers. I went with the 17 inch SLP ZR1 hyperknights for the wheel. The interior is a custom GN scheme and I have matching gray front and back door upholstery. The engine wil be a monochromatic dull silver, everything; I/C, maf pipe, accessories, etc..NO CHROME OR MISMATCHED FINISH ANYWHERE!! The ceramic and powdercoat are similar colors but not identical, but it pulls off the look I was going for. I am looking for a used Turbo Shield as we speak to make it a custom TNX piece as well.

After I get that wrapped up, stage II will include a Kirbans GNX rear, 4 wheel disk brakes, and a killer sound system. The rest of the mods will be little things like a trunk carpet kit and what not.

They look better in person, the flash is killing me at the moment.

Oh well, I'm done posting pics, carry on. :D

Welp, I just dropped both of them back into the parts cleaner bucket.

The gloss black was too overwhelming, I'm going to hit it with flat enamel and keep they letters gloss.

Haha, I just can't finish anything. :p

Okay, I'm done, at least for 3-5 days to let that paint really cure before I dick with it. :yay:

Really coming along bud. I didn't know you were that talented when I met you.
Might have to get you to build some emblems for me.

Thanks, I have talent and passion galore. Time, energy, and follow through are my weaknesses at the moment.. I just got called in to work two 12 hours shifts this weekend as I typed this, LOL. But you know all about lack of freetime, I'm preaching to the choir.

Since my Gbodyparts.com Stock Location Intercooler was a first run I figured I would give it a label since it didn't have one. That is if you don;t mind me pasting GBodyParts.com in it.

where did you get that foil done?

I had a Messageboard buddy from LS2.com hook me up. He runs a print shop in Virginia. The only problem is he recently sold his shop and is shutting the doors the 15th. But I could see if he could hook you up. At worse if he couldn't, you copy X-Rays or my process pics and ask a local print shop in your area if they can have their foil guys do the same process for you. My badges are really just acid etched magnesium printing dies, I just had them lay it out right reading. Saved me a ton of fabricating though, probably saved me about 16 hours of work at least.

Dude your project is bad a$$ not just the the TNX stuff but the combo to the car also.
i was also looking at the GNX flares and fender louvers but i am going with the go fast and ugly style (it will be sleeping the street)
Dude good luck
can't wait to see it finished.

Who is that? I am thinking of having Dagwood airbrush a turbo 6 on my helmet.

You got some good stuff going on. I just took my motor apart this evening and found a bunch of my headgasket in the oil pick up. I might just paint my new setup like yours, all mono looking.
