Any opinions? Done right, it really seems to augment a motor. The worst cases I've seen are leaks from improper sealing.
Certainly cheaper than $4k for the new stage block.
 
I guess depends on what your eventual goals are with the motor. I think that the billet caps by themselves on proper machine work will get the job done rite as well. Only so much can be asked out of one of these motors.

Less alone the new subframe required for the additional pan clearance and oil drip mat :D

Ya also didnt mention crankshaft :eek: , rods ,etc..that all this pwer has to be transfered through.
 
The motor has steel caps, forged pistons, blah-blah .. same old boring stuff. The subframe is not a problem - it's got a the tubular chrome moly subframe, tubular a-arms, etc.

My GN leaks, so I'm used to seeing oil - that's why I park in the street :-)
