Help needed.
Could someone tell what would be best converter for street an strip use.

My car has ta-49, kb headers, 3" dp and exhaust system, 70 mm plenum, big cooler, 42 lbs injectors, mildly ported stock heads, tt-chip.

Get a hold of Dusty Bradford on this board. He will get you an awesome converter for your set up.

What camshaft are you using? The stock cam needs a little less stall.
 
I live in finland and we have only 15 turbo buicks here, this msg board and books are only place where we get good advises.

With a TA-49, you can use a 10" 2400 stall or a 10" 2800 stall. The 2400 is about 800 rpm looser than stock, the 2800 is 1200 rpm looser than stock.

The 2800 will launch better than stock and give up 2-3 mph to the 2400. I'd run the 2400 if it were my car.
