Apr 18, 2014 #2 E earlbrown runs with scissors Joined May 26, 2001 Messages 7,539 Probably more like 30 inch pounds. But I never torque those bolts (or use a gasket). 3/8th ratchet and a short extention... turn 'em down until they're 'tight'.

Apr 19, 2014 #4 N novaderrik Well-Known Member Joined May 12, 2004 Messages 8,076 those are 5/16" bolts- anything more than about 20 ft lbs or so is begging them to break... just snug them down with a short handled 3/8" ratchet... if they leak, snug them a little more..
