I am in the middle of my ongoing mod list and last night I was wrpping up the trans/converter install...my service manual scalled for 35 ft lb for flexplate/converter bolts....I also applied red loctite. This morning I was looking at some other specs in my TTA supplemental manual and it says 45 ft lb for this. I have it all wrapped up, converter cover installed and fluid lines back in place...should I take them back out and do over (new red loctite and 45 ft lb.) or is 35 ft lb fine ?

Always something...this is taking forever

Thanks,
Scott

I think you'll be fine if you used the loctite.

you are probably right but I decided to do it over...only took about 1/2 hour...now torqued to 46# w/red loctite...would hate to have one come loose
