One…. two teenagers ran a 350Z off of I-91 into trees when they lost control trying to pass, both were dismembered and killed. What the hell is 17 and 19 year old doing in a 350Z? And were the hell were the parents? – These are questions I believe need to be answered.
The other, two jackasses moving well over 90-mph were weaving/racing through highway traffic, one of them slammed into the back of a small SUV killing a 50-ish year old woman (passenger) and mangling her husband (driver) on their way to vacation. Of course the car(s) not involved in the actual accident continued on, as did the other car in the 350Z incident.
The price for a good “street race”: Two teens who never got to live and a family without a wife and mother.
In my mind I feel this is enough said that “street racing” is the absolute stupidest thing you could do and is getting out of control. Don’t get me wrong I did do it, but not anymore, I couldn’t live with myself if I hurt/killed someone or hurt my family. We in the “car community” need to recognize this and focus on the perpetrators not the politicians. Image is everything, so to get rid of the politicians we need to get rid of the street racing. Politicians are bags of hot air, we need to just suck it out of them.
I’m sure you guys are going to tear me up on this.![]()
