i cant get the tps to go above 4.1-4.2 at wot and keep it below 5.0 at idle, its at .48 at idle to get the above reading at wot.... the throttle is opening up all the way when checked visually and to get it this close i had to set the iac counts are about 50 in park.
Just wondering if the tps is worn out or if its bad.... does anyone know? thanks.

No, I don't think TPS is bad. My TPS only reaches about 4.3 at WOT. It is no big deal if you don't hit 4.5...no effect on performance. Basically, as long as the throttle blade is completely open when you floor it, that is what counts. See http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/ under the tuning section and there is a full explanation.

Also, idle TPS does not affect WOT TPS readings to my knowledge. Moving the sensor moves the idle numbers. My WOT readings remain fairly constant. Make sure your floormat is out when you mash the pedal --that can make a huge difference.

Also, idle counts at 50 may be a bit high, so you can adjust it with the minimum air screw. But don't sweat the IAC that much...it only matters at idle. Just listen to your engine at idle and see if it sounds good and if your RPMs are high at idle after youve warmed up (closed loop).
