Tps sensor voltage low?

well i have been testing the tps sensor voltage and i cant get more then 3.6Volts going to it thus it will not give me the 4.4 + Volts needed to control wide open throttle what could my reason for low voltage be?

Check the 5V ECM reference lines too.

I had sane problem sure cable is not stretched or if trans cable is to tight. Also could be the carpet Push on carpet behind gas petal to make sure it's flush against floor pan

Is it the stock factory sensor or have you installed a aftermarket one?

Is this a new issue after installing a new one or reinstalling one? Did the voltage just drop for no reason out of the blue? May just need adjusted, and sometimes adjusting it means filing the half moon little guides off for more movement.
