TPS voltage response

ive noticed that the last time i set th tps in my hooptie, the voltage creeps from .47 to 4.6 real slow, in increments. maybe im doing it wrong , but when i checked the wot i paut the pedal to the floor kinda fast ,but the voltage took a second to catch up after i stopped is this normal? or is the tps going baad?

Are you using a voltmeter or an aldl scanner? Scanners have a pretty good bit of lag in them. Something like 1.4 seconds so if thats what you are doing its normal.

i'm using a digital voltmeter. it just seems like when it goes from idle to wot i think it should move faster. thanks for the reply.
