TR Custom Parts oil filter

Is any one using the TR Custom Parts oil filter, and if so what are the advantages to this piece. It is a lot of $$ for the piece and you have to occasionally buy replacement media from what I can see. Is this unit worth the $100+ price tag or not?

One of the best filters out there but I am biased of course. Manufacturer has been making these for 30 years. Think they know what they are doing.
