Anyone have any thoughts on which to use. The turbo Protector seems simpler but is $80 more.

I like the TR Customs unit. It uses just one filter which greatly simplifies installation and doesn't add clutter to your engine bay. The best part is it uses a very, very high quality filter capable of filtering down to 8 microns to protect your motor and turbo. You also get high quality fittings and a teflon braided hose.

I don't think you could go wrong either way. Just a matter of preference.

I run Marks. It's the same principle as the pte turbo saver with less clutter.

I went from PTE to marks. I like the cleaner installation and less hoses.

I have yet to hook it up but I went with tr customs one. Ordinary had a pte then saw it would be a little cluttersome so I kept it simple and went with marks. I'm still building but I like it.. pte has what seems to be bigger filter but more lines etc. Marks has a better filter less lines more $. I think either way you won't go wrong. Lots of people using both with no issues. If you do
Go pte make sure you buy wiz or I believe Baldwin filters

I've been using the PTE turbosaver with the System 1 filter for 18 years without any problems of any kind, works great.

Going right by the factory tomorrow if you want to order up! I came up with my setup to make an easy no muss, no fuss installation that flat out works. Less potential leak areas. No mounting brackets, drilling holes, etc. No complicating an already busy motor compartment In fact the hardest thing is removing the stock oil feed line and plugging the hole (with the supplied brass plug) Price on the damn filters keep going up every year which is what kills the price unfortunately.

Hey Mark need to buy more filters, however I don't see how to buy just the filters

Thanks for the replies. Seems it's just a matter of preference. I'm going with Mark's due to the simplicity.

Good choice. You won't be disappointed. It's a really nice setup.

I just ordered one from TR Custom Parts. Been wanting one for awhile now. Seemed like the simplest of the two.

I got marks im gonna use the old feed line for my oil pressure gauge
