So I managed to get a TR6 ignition. Been reading and doing some studying about the features and setting on the module, which is quite impressive. For those which have the ignition module would you share any experience, or settings that work better than others? Would you also share how you trigger the 2-step in car?

Thanks in advance

Trigger the 2 step with a trans brake button that's also connected to my trans brake. You can wire it to the brake switch as well and use a toggle as the main switch so you can turn it off when not needed.

Do you need to have a transbrake to use a 2 step? Would a higher stall be enough or no?

from my understanding you do not. Trans brakes benefit the launch since you can time both simultaneously to "let go" at the same time. Without a trans brake you will be holding on the brake pedal with the gas at WOT even though you have the two step eliminate RPM at lets say 3000 rpm. Hit the 2 step switch, let off the brake pedal...and off you go. Having that higher stall will allow more boost build since the engine RPM will be rev without you having the tires letting loose on you. I look forward to learning more and playing around with the setup.

Good idea on the foot brake. I take it, leave the trigger inversion set to "no" and when the brake switch sends voltage it activates the 2 step. Nice idea. Hypothetical question for you. What happens if you do not interrupt the circuit with a toggle? I guess you would need to turn off the 2 step to do a burnout....

I followed what SloGN ( Patrick) did with his. Drilled a hole in the lower left hand corner of the brake pedal and installed a push button starter switch. when driving normally you do not use the left side of the brake pedal ( unless you are a 2 foot driver). This works very well. Also have the 2 step wired to a potentiometer inside the car and can change the preset RPM very quickly without opening the TR6 box. The 2 step setting will show on your tach
