Just wondering, do I need insurance and regerstration on a car to race it at the track if it were trailored in and not street legal?

Forgive my stupitidy fellas:p

Nope, even if you have insurance, it will not pay if an accident takes place on the track.
For "street night"s at some tracks they do require it to be taged and inspected but thats just because it is "street night".

Does not need to be registered and as posted ablove insurance won't cover anything at the track. Your car does need to meet NHRA safety rules for the mph/et it is running.
