PS Steve the temp at your run was probably about 40 * F... I remember we were FREEZING that night.

Tom,your probrobly right about the temps being in the 40's that night :D

As for the weight,no way were you 3400lbs with you in it.I weighed that car in Bristol in 2000 and it was 3295 with my tools and everything else out,I'm about 250lbs and had between 50-60lbs toolbox in it at all times which explains the 3606 weight in my above post..You added in the front sway bar, strut tower brace, heavier front springs, radio, and the fog lights I was missing. Now lets use lowball numbers and say all that was 50lbs(it was probrobly more)and you weight about 150lbs then your still looking at 3500lbs(probrobly more like 3520-3550 depending on amout of fuel and actual weight of items added in).

I know you probrobly weighed it but the scales have a tendancy of being off sometimes - occasionally by a large margin :D

I remember it being like 3400... I weighed 140 at the time :D and I only had about 6 gallons of fuel in the car, my small cheesy toolbox (about 5lbs).... guess the scale is broke ;)
