Went to the track tonight to do some tuning. Run all went well except i was going lean in third gear so i was lifting around the 1000ft mark. I ran one 11.8 at 116 and the other runs were 11.5 between 115 and 117mph. The last run i stayed in it a little longer than the other runs and what do you know POP right around the 1000ft mark. Hg went out still went 11.56 at 116. Not too bad it got more in it. I need to get a second fuel pump to fix my lean condition and get the power master back in there so i can hold some boost on the line. All run were launched between 0 and 2 lbs of boost thats all my brakes would hold. Had a great time tonight.:D

definetly was turbo/big block weather tonight... i wasnt happy with my runs but everything that was done to the car during the resto was to make it slower.. haha.. hopefully next year i'll be Boostin!

117 mph at the 1000' mark is damn respectable. What's the combo?

thats 117 coasting thru the traps i was shutting it down at the 1000ft. The combo is 20,000 mile motor that the heads have never been off, 62/65 billet turbo, comp 212/212 cam, pte strech intercooler, 80lb inj, non lock tranny with 9 inch 3500 stall bradco converter. 26/11.50/15 mt slicks. I went 7.2 at 93.84mph in the 1/8.

Once i get her up and running again i bet with the powermaster back in there so i can get some boost off the launch and a second fuel pump i can get her to go in the 10.80 area.
