Went back tonight to test the inlet temp sensor after I relocated it to the plenum. I'm going through the traps at 83* now. Also tried a little different launch than I've been doing and it worked. 1.29 60 foot and 5.25 @ 137.11 mph

Can I get a hell yeah......John ;)

First pass was 1.29 and went a 5.33 at 134 but I had to peddle at 100 feet to get the nose back down and keep the car off the wall. An adjustment to suspension got it pointed straight the next pass and it all came together.

Dusty,

I am proud of you bro!
The sixty foot is great!
You are going to have to put No Time on the car when you go out and test in the future. I don't want to have Dusty Rule made up for your car.
Let's talk tomorrow!

Dang, if you ever bring it down to a race to Emerald Coast Dragway let me know, I'd like to come see that thing.

I think ORSCA has a few races in South GA later in the year that I should be at. I'll be in Pensacola Friday night but only for my nieces graduation Saturday morning. As soon as she gets her diploma we're splitting. I have to be at Steele AL for qualifying that Saturday by 4:30pm

It just keeps getting faster...

Awesome job Dusty, this is just plain sick!!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again~ It amazes me how far you have come with this car in the short period of time... You make it look WAY too easy!!! :)

I dropped a line to the woman who films all of the EZ Street races. I was lined up with their car last night on my .25 pass. Not sure if she filmed it or not but she should get back with me.

Dude,

Did you get any sleep?

Nah, after we had 2 kids I got used to no sleep.

I needed the testing last night with a 2k race coming up next weekend. I need to some $$$ to lighten this pig up. It will be another crazy weekend. I leave for Pensacola Friday about lunch, hang out with my wife's niece Friday night, watch her get her diploma from college Sat morning then run back to Steele which is about 4.5 hours away hopefully in time to jump in the car and qualify. Chad and my dad will be bringing the car over so I can meet them at the track.

Wow that makes me tired just thinking about it... I can relate to the 4 hour drives as I have been driving up and down Florida the last few weeks with trying to get into school.. Gotta love the $3 a gallon gas prices as well!

Sheesh that car gets faster and faster every time. When do you plan on taking it down the 1/4 mile? Very nice.
