I clicked on the link for the Escort GPS unit. Apparently you must subscribe for $15/month. Does anybody know why? A GPS unit does not require a subscription.

They have a full service website that you can interact with, think that's where the charge comes in. Emails you and/or texts you if the car is moved out of it's perimeter, tells you if your battery is running low, can program a fob that goes on your keychain to disable the system when the keys are in the car. Can see the history of the cars whereabouts including speed.

But if your a drug dealer I recon you dont subscribe to this service, make it easier for 5.0 to know your whereabouts. LOL
