does anybody, or has anybody used trailing arm braces? they are the short tubular peice that conects the uppes and lowers together. i see them made by hotchkis and edlebrck. but a local shop (10 minutes away) makes g-body uppers, lowers and these braces all the same as the big companies, for a lot less though. what are the advantages of using these braces beside they "triangle" the rear arms.from the way they mount it seems they could make the rear more rigid by preventing almost all twisting, planting the tires.i plan on making a "g-machine" style car that can handle pretty good, be comfortable to ride in, and take off on motor or spary if needed.so im wondering if it is in my best interest to buy these down the road, just to have.

They triangulate the upper to lower trailing arms to reinforce the area. GM used them in the late sixties on big block A bodies.
