Aww come on Ty, how many "real" tornados do you "see" every year? Been in KS all my life....saw one funnel cloud in person and it never touched down. Wife got too close for comfort once when she was about 12-13. Sirens go off all the time but your chances of being hit by one are slim. A buddy of mine thinks he's a storm chaser and runs after that crap all the time and has never seen one on the ground.

I don't know about Kansas, but here in Virginia Beach I have seen 2 on the ground and had one pass right over my house while I was sleeping.

After seeing what that one did to that train, I ain't messin around with them.

I saw that tanker car headed toward the engine and thought it was going to get really ugly, really fast.

Thank god we dont see that kind of stuff here in california, we just get a few earth shakers here and there

Actually Bob I probably see 3-5 a year with my travels throughout the states of Kansas and Nebraska alone, let alone the other states surrounding.

I was in York Nebraska when this set down by Auroura and skipped its way across.

You gotta get off the tit in B-Ville and get out and see the world a little bit Bob:rolleyes:

I get to see at least 1 a year and have only had 1 touch down in front of me. That was in college and my girlfriend was in the truck with me about to rip my arm off. I was in aw of it and it wasn't more than 150 yards in front of us.

Until you can find some way to prove it I am leaving the BS flag a mile high on this one. No matter how far you travel you can only be in one place at any given time and even if it is open highway the chances of a noticeable funnel cloud forming within sight of you at any given time are slim. On a lucky year you MIGHT see three. 3-5 a year is stretching the truth just a little bit. No flames intended here, but I think you're full of $hit Ty.

start taking pics. and prove you took 'em.

You can fly yor BS flag as high as you want, just drive 1500-2000 miles a week in the Midwest and it not really that uncommon.

You really need to get out of Nemaha County once in awhile:biggrin:

Ty(JOHNDEEREGN) travels alot with his job. Hes a standup guy. If he says he has put his eyeballs on that many tornados I believe him.

The only problem I have with him is that he sold his GN's and has not replaced them yet.:D

Buy ya a tractor yet bud?

I would imagine driving thru the plains, you will see your fair share of tornado's. I'm a trained storm spotter and last year we had quite a few, but this year has been pretty quiet. This pic was from last year up by the windfarm in NW Oklahoma. Took out 2 homes. Got to see it from begining to end.
