tranisiton Alky knock

Basically sometimes when i dont stall the car up and just hit the throttle all the way with high boost 24-25lbs and alky i get transiton knock??? ive adjusted the turn on point and the amount, that doesnt seem to be the problem,
what coud it be?? false reading??something in the motor?? cuz it says its spraying alky and right before full boost comes all knock on the scanmaster is gone,and i dont knock on 15lbs EVER without alky????

It takes the alky a sec to prime and get going even though the light is on. If you'll press the prime button right before you get on it you shouldn't have any problem.

Let me guess too, after the first hit of the throttle and you get passed the knock, does it clear up in third gear?

If so that's exactly what mine was doing. Direct Scan showed after 5000 rpm, the knock counts went ballistic and it would pull up to 29*. It turned out that the engine itself was setting off the knock sensor. If I reved it up passed 5K, the counts would read. Probably get 20 counts on a rev. Because I know that in 3rd I have no knock @ 25-26#, 18 degrees timing, I unplugged the knock sensor. I turn it on early and light so not to bogg the motor, get the system going and everything has been fine.....

Something you should check though, see if your engine sets off the scanmaster... Rev it high enough as mine won't do it unless the revs go passed 5K. Direct scan is the best way as it will tell you the counts as the system starts hearing what it thinks is knock. Oh a BTW, MUCH faster than the scanmaster....

I've got the SMC kit, single nozzle & was having similar problems. It didn't do it if I eased into it, but would do it if I just nailed it...I also have the trans+ & got rid of my problem by adding in a little fuel @ wot....
