I wanted to ask some opinions. Is it possible for your transmission to run too cool? I have the stock transmission cooler and one of the larger 1.5" thick B&M coolers. The sending unit is in the oil pan in the front, so that probably makes the reading a little lower than the actual temperature because it has air blowing across it all the time, but in cooler weather the gauge only reads into the low-100's and around 150 in stop and go traffic.

You should be ok. As long as the stock cooler is in series with the external cooler your temps are ok. The stock cooler will heat the oil to the coolant temp. What thermostat are you running in the motor? If you are in an area where temps are consistantly near freezing you should be running a 180* thermostat.

The car has a 180 degree thermostat, but usually runs 170-180 according to the scanmaster. I've got the B&M cooler after the stock one, maybe that's not such a good idea.
