Well guys, I made it home. Thank God for flatbeds.... So everyone knows, I haven't YET looked into the tranny, but probably not good. I was unable to shift into D,2, or 1 at the line so I couldn't use the line lock. So it was a SOFT of idle launch. Then as I got out and the boost built, it made it to 12-13 psi and a big BANG and a kick in my a$$ under the seat. I swore the driveshaft broke. I have nothing but Park and coast now. Thankfully I got the tranny from Bruce, so I'm kind of counting on his customer service now. After all, that's why I bought a $3500 tranny/converter from him. We'll see though. First guess would be either converter bolts (I crossing my fingers for something that simple), must likely the input shaft (which is a billet piece), or the drum/pump. After I get done having a few drinks to wash away my blues, I'm gonna go do some investigating. Fluid level and smell/looks are good. It was grwat meeting everyone again, even if it was MIGHTY HOT out there. My data log from the FAST system looks really good (well for the 3 seconds I actually was into it).
