Tired of making a mess doing a tranny sevice.:rolleyes:Who makes the best tranny drain plug and do you have to weld it in or just bolt together.:confused:I want to keep my stock pan:biggrin:Thanks in advance

Kevin

I had one in my old stock pan. It was the kind that bolted together from the inside. I havent seen it in a while. The drain stuck down maybe 1" from the pan and you loosened it and it drained out of the middle? Hard for me to describe without looking at it.

I know you can get a B&M drain plug. Or a bolt and a gasket would work.

Hope this helps.

One one pan I just drilled a big hole & used a self tapping drian bolt & rubber gasket. Now I have one with a nut welded to the outside that takes a bolt with gasket. That way it drains all the oil unlike our oil pans with the nut inside.

Thanks alot for the opinions :biggrin:Found one at the local tranny shop. It,s amazing when you go into a shop with a few coffee's what you leave with:cool:
