Well it appers the tranny has begain to slip. There is a noticeable flare between the 2-3 shift. This only happens at WOT any other time the shift is firm. I guess that the Tranny needs to be rebuilt but is there anything else I shhould get done or can anyone recomemd a good tranny shop in or around Tucson, AZ.

Thanks for any help...

2-3 flare, wot

First place I would look is for a for a lack of fluid to the trans filter under WOT. May be as simple as cavitation due to filter placement in the pan. Trans fluid is pushed away from the filter when you accelerate due to the G forces. It is a common cause for this concern. Let us know what happens

install a b accumulator valve out of a 700r4 valve body and use the line bias spring from the vbody on the accumulator valve .no more slip if the clutches are still good !

This sounds interesting to me can you elaborate more. Sorry trannys are new to me...

Maybe part numbers ect...

this valve and sleeve is interchanchable between the two units and with the spring it kills soft shifts at hi throttle angles ,the biggest shift complaint /calibration error with 2004rs.there is not enough accumulator pressure for stock applications let alone hi mileage frictions trying to clamp glazed steel plates during clutch pack engagement.without accumulator system mods 2004rs behind buick motors are losers.
