trans brake

hi i know this has been talked about alot ,but i am curious how long my trans will hold up with a trans brake.It has a jimmys street strip build and 3200 vigilante converter.

All I can say is the experience that I have had with mine. I built my trans back in 99 and have had a StageRite transbrake in it since and have yet to have to fix/repair anything trans-wise because of having the brake in it. Mine isn't the best design out there as when you launch, it releases the low clutches and only relies on the one way clutch to transfer all the power.

just wanted to know how did that trans brake work out for you
I will be getting the same trans from jimmys with the same stall converter an he told me that trans brakes are bad on the tranny if you are trying to build boost with it

hey tta did jimmy install a billet forward drum in your trans?if so he gets them thru us and i would like some pictures of your car for my manual.please respond.
