trans brakes???

anybody have any info or directions for the stage rite trans brake?

i think that is whats in my car as you have to put it in 1st (low 1) to activate it.

is this brake reliable for the transmission? only see the track 3 times a year.

what other brakes activate like this?

i did a search and came up with nothing.

I've had my StageRite in my 85 since 98 and not a lick of trouble. I put it in when I built the trans and it gets used everytime I go to the track. I don't have any blistering times yet because the car gets so finicky and there is always something else to sort out but it is a daily driver with a 10" non lockup 3000 stall.

I've heard of maybe one or two others that act the same way but they are copies of the StageRite from what I gather.
