trans cooler

I had a trans built by art carr with a 3300 stall and the cooler that they put on definitely wasn't cutting it. how much would it help to run it through the radiator as well? or do i just need a beastly cooler!

If you're having that much trouble cooling it down, it sure wouldn't hurt to run it through the radiator first, then a big auxiliary cooler.

I presume you're talking about a non lock-up converter? What rear gear are you running? For a converter like that to run efficiently at highway speeds, you should have a 3.55 or numerically higher.
