Simlar to recent post, but oppposite:

After doing the F body radator swap, I had someone mention that for a 99% street driven GN the trans cooler in the F body rad should suffice; it was meant to keep a 350TPI/7004R cool.

Any opinions?

I plan on running a 2800 lockup.

Add an external cooler after the rad cooler in series.
 
An ext cooler is a must in a trans of any mild perf. The number 1 cause of trans failures is heat.

Any piece of mind the GNX had a ext cooler installed as one of its upgrades
