trans fluid need changed while car is sitting?

Some of you may have seen my thread about the 2000 gtp I bought with 6800 miles on it. Even though some asshole vandalized the shit out of it I still try to take meticulous care of it. THe car now has 13k on it. Should I be worried about the 13 yr old trans fluid that is in it or should I just rock it until the change interval comes around?
