I finally got around to hooking up the wires for the timing portion of my Trans+ and something isnt right. With everything hooked up when I start the car it will rev up backfire and then it stalls. If I try to keep it running with some throttle it still backfires and stalls
I have the wiring hooked up as follows: extension cable from T+ to firewall, then the pig tail cable goes through grommet into car, from there I ran wire over to the ECM white wire on the B4 position using but connectors. White wire goes to ECM and grey wire goes to ign module as directions stated. I tried switching the wires and it throws the EST code. If I plug the jumper in under the hood (bypassing the Translator) it runs great and no codes so I am sure my wiring is good.
T+ version is 4.2 and the chip is BYL57CO
