Trans Question?

Ok taking off easy trans shifts smooth 1,2,3,and going in OD.Fairly hard take offs good hard shifts 1,2,3,and OD BUT at WOT wants to hold 1st to long you can feel car nose over and gluides into 2nd and shifts ok into 2-3.Is this normal or is there some thing I can adjust??

At what rpm's/speed is it "nosing over"? It may be time for valve springs?

Got new upgraded valve springs and valve about 10,000 miles on them.Going by stock tach it is about 5500. You can feel the trans wanting to shift but seems to hold it for a sec.or two longer. Just wourndering how it should shift at WOT Hard or smooth?

The stock tachs are notoriously inaccurate. They usually read high. Is the trans stock? Did you adjust the T.V. cable properly? Do you have a scan tool to read the speed and rpm? They normally shift in the 5000rpm range. If the trans is stock, the shift won't be that firm.

Yes trans is stock.What is the proper way to adjust TV cable?Going to buy a ScanMaster next week.
