Hi guys. I have a issue with my recently rebuilt trans. First off I had it rebuilt by a reputable builder in my area that specializes in turbo buicks. My problem is that it will shift at the correct rpm good firm shifts about 4800-4900 next time it will delay its shift to about 5300-5400. This happens when its at full operating temp.
The trans. has about 2k miles on it and no other problems to mention.
It has a transgo shift kit and a 3000
orange stripe converter .
I would just like to get some input before I take it back to the builder so I don't look like a dumb a@#.
Someone told me possibly there could be something in the valve body to cause this (dirt, etc.)
My tranny guy also put a magnetic filter in line to catch any foreign debris. The trans is BRF throughout.
