The transmission has started slipping between the 2-3 shift and also the lock-up solenoid is sticking after long drives. Scanmaster is giving a code 24 for the VSS sensor.

Once a 200-4R starts to slip, it is time for a rebuild. The TCC solenoid gets changed during a rebuild. I will need more info for your VSS problem. Is the speedometer working? Is the MPH showing on your scanmaster? Sent you a message

Thanks for the response. The speedometer is working but there isn't a MPH registering on the scan master.

Replace your VSS sensor behind the Speedo. Small green box with a little LED lokking sensor that screws into the cluster next to the Speedo cable.

Are you saying that I might not need a rebuild and that it could be just a bad sensor?

No that has nothing to do with a slipping trans. The trans needs a rebuild. Do yourself a favor and save aot of head ache and just have a known good builder build it.

Yup, rebuild time. Also, do the R&R yourself. It's not that bad, even with hand tools. You just have to have the right hand tools.

Ok, little clarification here. I think I read this somewhere before. My speedo cable is broken, will this affect the trans and the way it shifts? I can't tell if it is slipping or not.
Thanks

A broken speedo cable will not affect the way the transmission shifts. It will prevent the torque converter clutch from working because that depends on the vehicle speed sensor which, in turn, depends on the speedometer cable.

Well, turns out I was a quart and a half low on ATF!
Will take it for a test run tomorrow.
Hope I am just a moron and that was the problem!
