Will it damage the transmission?
Whats available and how much do they run?

Hello TurboV6
If you are talking about a Brake for the TH200-4R well I personally don't think it's a good idea for whoever invented one.
The Transmission as it is, is not a stong one for Drag Racing. Yes we all know that people have gone mid nine's with them. But always with your fingers crossed.
After 11 yeras racing a Buick Turbo, I have come to a comclusion that using a non-lockup converter (3500-4000) stall #16930 A/C, and usuing your foot brake will give you years of fun.
SInce I wanted a Brake, I switched to a TH400 and I don't worry about what goes on under the Car.
My opinion.......

Joe

Ok, I'll bite.... just what are you trying to sell me Joe?

Using technology that is 11 years old......alot has changed.........

And believe it or not, I support the foot brake 90 % of the time !

Hi Bruce,
I understand that if one person invents a Product to make something that was not possible, That's fine. In my opinion and to others, we have discussed that for the TH200-4R it has it's limitations. You know that, but you are entitled to sell your product because you stand by it. I have nothing wrong with that.
I have been working with these Cars for the past 11 years and I have seen all kinds of break downs with these Transmissions. Do you think that any Transmission Re-builder can say that it will be unbreakable? I don't think so.
All I can say is that I can only wish all the best to those who expect it not to break and it won't.
Regards,
Joe

The point is the parts you are referring to breaking are now made to withstand the load. I now make EVERY part for this trans that is a weak point. Even the OD planet and ring gear. We just today have released our billet servo. And like they said above , if you push it it will break eventually, whether it be a 400, 2004r, Lenco, Liberty, whatever. But, I also understand your view.....and why you believe in it.
