I would recommend sticking to factory style unmodified MAF's, as the Translator is calibrated for those. However, if they have already tried the other MAF with a standard Translator, and the BLM's and everything are good, then it may be ok.
 
I like my electronics in the cabin. Underhood temperature is hard on electronics, also easy to sit in the car & make adjustments.
I've had mine since they first came out with the long wires I got from Mike & no issues.
 
hello people; Thanks for the help on the tranlater. But speaking of MAF. Dailey Driver from BWR talked about a Cobault SS one that fits in the maf tube. That's sound pretty trick. I tried to find some info on it with no luck. Any one here heard of it or tried it. I do have to get back to DD but I just had to ask.
