transmission rebuild cost? 200-4r

my trans is going out on me and I want to have it rebuilt with stronger/better parts. I want it to be strong enough to withstand a 10 sec pass consistently. I don't know much about transmissions so how much am I looking to pay so I don't get ripped off? thanks.

Where are you located? I would use someone that on this board that is close you. Or you could get a trans shipped to your house and put it in yourself.


But just for the trans itself plan on spending $1700-$2000.
