the problem im having is my transmission slips a little when going into third. it hold the power just fine, but on the 2-3 shift its waaay to lazy. the transmission is a dynotech with very little milage on it. what does this sound like to you guys? i dont know much about tranny's but i would think if it needed to be rebuilt it would slip under power.

Is this a new problem or has it always been like that?

Check the fluid and make sure its the quart over full like it should be if you are using a 200 filter. Mine just did the same thing. Also check the tv adjustment.

i checked the tv calbe and its where it needs to be. as for the fluid level, so it needs to be a quart over full? the fluid doesnt smell burnt or anything, hopefully it just needs some fluid.

Fill it to the back and forth bends on the dipstick. How does it shift into third with just a few psi of boost?

according to dusty (twisted6 converters) that 9" race PTC would be like that on normal driving , takes a good amount of rpm for a firm feel , try manually shifting the gears and letting the car go a little higher on the rpms before the shift

i cant try to shift any higher, it doesnt want to rev past 5800, almost like theres a limiter, but i triple checked with eric and there isnt a limiter on the chip.
