Sorry for the long post. . .Hooked the W/G solenoid back up this weekend after trying it "tuner" style. Car seems to have more response with it hooked up however I can only build about 7 lbs of boost. It SEEMS like the computer is pulling out timing as it bogs terrible when I go WOT. I'm running red stripe injectors, about 38 psi fuel pressure at the rail, line off. I tried upping the fuel pressure but the thing acts (and smells) like it's running rich under boost. Strong gas smell under load. Where should I be looking for solutions? Was wondering if O2 sensor could be gone, I tried the old "tap the maf" trick and got no response. . . Thanks!

You definetly need a scan tool, what kind of mods do you got going on?

I've gone and replaced my O2 sensor, checked my TPS voltage, which is a good .42 volts at idle and just about 5.0 at WOT. Still running a bit better but still smells rich to me. Any other suggestions, I know I know, buy a scantool.
What's the recommended scantool for an '85? I may go ahead and switch to the 87 ecm and coilpack down the road.
