Other then a good old bottle type jack, what's a good easy to pack, high capacity jack?, and/ or not so compact.

The one thing I don't like about the bottle type jacks is that they're kind of tippy...

TIA

What kind of truck are you talking about? Truck=Tractor Trailer or Pickup Truck?

Oops.....
3/4t pickup, and dual axle open car trailer.

I have '97 F250HD with the Powerstroke. I have been using a Sears (not Craftsman) 3 ton floor jack. I had this jack fort almost 20 years. The handle pump piston seal finally gave out. I've this jack plenty of time to lift my truck, GN, '55 Caddy and whole other sorts of vehicles. It easily lifted my tandem open car trailer.

I also have the Craftsman 2 ton aluminum jack. That jack can't lift my truck, but it lifted my gf's Explorer and GN.

I have to replace my 3 ton jack. Undecided whether to get a Craftsman or OTC ($$$). I believe Lincoln jacks are now Marathon.
