I am looking to get a carpet kit for my T Type trunk. I am curious as to what you guys use to mount the "under trunk" top carpet. I have been told to use contact cement but I can see how that might be a pain if I need to remove the carpet for some reason. Is there a better way? I really have NO idea how theses installs work and any install secrets would be appreciated.

i'd probably look at using the plastic push pin thingies like they use to hold the underhood insulation in place, only smaller. that's how it's done on later model stuff.

I bought Kirban's trunk pad which came with a DVD. The guy used glue to really get that thing to stick. I drilled the holes and used the small push pins. Maybe there is a utube video.

I was thinking about the pushpins/screws but isn't that alot of holes? How many did you end up drilling? I know if I was to use glue it would most likely take alot as well. Definitely something to think about. and I will see if there is a video on utube. Thanks
