trunk install? - braided line?

I bought a second hand SMC kit and am considering a trunk install.

Steve shot me a price for $70 for 16' of braided line and an extended harness.

I am thinking I can extend the harness myself easy enough.

Does anyone know where to buy the braided line at a better price, or is $70 for all a fair price?

One thing you may want to consider is that the line will take a long tme to fill and spray. If the car is used for roadracing..then this may be your only option..for a street car,strip car..careful what ya ask for.

The line always gets sucked dry by the air rushing past the nozzle..if you mash the throttle it will be detonation city until the line fills,sprays,cylinders get alky.

If I had to trunk mount, I would consider propane.

Never priced a 16 foot section of number 4 teflon lined with fittings. Most braided line is 3-4 bucks a foot..so thats a good price. Considering fittings and such. And yes must be teflon lined for alcohol..not just rubber braided.

I could be wrong on price..but teflon hose is expensive stuff.

It's a good price pre-made.

$3-$4 a foot here locally for teflon braided.
